DANCE WORKSHOP & CONCERT

Geneva, Switzerland

CHEF Geneva on 13th – 14th of October organised a weekend workshop of Greek Dances. We were invited to instruct the dances and also play live music along the workshop and during the Concert that was held on Saturday night. Artisstep was accompanied by Harris Panagiotakis, musician and cretan lyra player, who also played during the workshops and the Saturday’s concert.

In the 8 hour workshop we taught dances originating from the following regions: Crete (East and West), Karpathos, Kalymnos, Thrace, Macedonia (Edessa, Florina).

With over 50 students during the workshop and more than 150 during the concert, we had some great time over the weekend. Special thanks to Padelis Vervatidis and CHEF Geneva for organising this workshop, to R.-M.
